Agent Services Representative

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

An Agent Services Representative (ASR) will assist insurance agents in the upkeep of their accounts with our company. They will be responsible for building relationships with these agents to ensure the best quality of customer service for our company. Our ASR must be able to communicate with the agents through phone, email, and/or our help desk system.

• Demonstrates the ability to present our business with professional integrity
• Ability to learn and maintain changing policies within the office
• Process returns as needed for our Quality Control Department
• Communicate with agents to at interval times set up by the department manager
• Provide daily and/or weekly status updates as directed by the department manager
• Cross-sell agents on other products that we offer
• Perform tasks requested by agents to update their accounts
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the department manager

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Insurance experience or knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred
• 2+ years in customer service (all industries accepted) is required
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of basic computer operations including but not limited to, Gmail, Google Drive, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing
• Learn and implement documented processes
